BEHIND EVERY POWERFUL
WOMAN IS AN EVEN MORE POWERFUL
BIRTH CHART
Meet Mahi
I am the eldest daughter of Ethiopian immigrants, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but now living in Chicago. I grew up in a world full of cultural richness, spiritual exploration, and self-discovery. From singing about stargazing in Abebayehosh (a traditional Ethiopian New Year song) to learning about the Magi in the Orthodox Church, I fell in love with the stars at a young age.
As young as 8 years-old, I would write about my friends’ zodiac signs in my childhood diaries, analyzing the differences between each person’s nature. It felt like a language to better understand people and create deeper relationships.
Astrology remained a hobby until I graduated from law school, started working in a demanding law firm, and hit the biggest roadblock of my career.
My birth chart guided me back to my purpose, healing the hustle mentality and toxic work habits I developed in law school. By studying my birth chart with the same investigative, strategy-focused approach I learned as a lawyer, I developed a method to turn birth charts into practical, personalized toolkits. I wantd to help people do much more than understand their birth chart, I wanted to help them use its wisdom to build a more fulfilling life.
Launched with love in 2021, my practice offers empowering insights through birth chart readings (one-on-one, couples, and businesses) and corporate workshops. My mission is to help you take practical steps towards your purpose, reconnect with ancestral wisdom, and nurture unwavering trust in your intuition.
Meet Your Astro Auntie
-
I’m an Aquarius Rising, Leo Sun, and Aries Moon
-
Showing people how special they are through the stars & reminding them of how important they are to our world
-
I meditate, pray, read scripture, and journal every morning at my altar. Every journal entry ends with “thank you, thank you, thank you” because waking up is enough reason to celebrate.
-
I love the Saturn Return. Our first Saturn Return happens around age 27 to 30, the second Saturn Return happens around age 56 to 60, and if we are lucky, the third Saturn Return happens around age 84 and 88.
-
I enjoy traveling to new places (and picking up interesting spices), working out (running, boxing, and HIIT workouts), reading (and chatting about the latest read with my Book Club girls), and brewing Ethiopian coffee for my loved ones.
